Rose, Kanye West’s 31-year-old former flame, recently filed for divorce from rapper Wiz Khalifa after one year of marriage. But she still sports a massive portrait of him — hat and all — on her left arm. Meanwhile, Kardashian, 30, still sports the intertwined initials “LO” between her right thumb and index finger, a tribute to her short-lived marriage to basketballer Lamar Odom.
And while they’re moving on, their tats remain. But, experts say, there are ways to conceal the signs of their past lovers. Tattoo artist Jake Masri says Rose’s tattoo is so large, she may need to cover it with something else. “I would recommend a skull or an owl,” says Masri, 23, of LA’s Lowrider Tattoo Studios. “Any image that has multiple contrasts to hide the black, like an animal Would work.”

John Reardon, of Brooklyn’s Greenpoint Experts say Amber Rose’s tattoo of former flame Wiz Khalifa Rose’s
tattoo is so large, she may need to cover it with something else.Tattoo Company, has another suggestion.
“For Amber, I would recommend a few laser treatments at first,” he
says. After that, he adds, “black roses or a raven could work; anything
with scales or feathers would be good. Scales and feathers are a prime
go-to for coverups, like a koi fish.”Experts say Amber Rose’s tattoo of former flame Wiz Khalifa Rose’s tattoo is so large, she may need to cover it with something else. |
He agrees Kardashian has more options, because her tattoo is smaller. “She would probably need like two or three treatments in order to do a coverup,” Reardon says. “A coverup tattoo has to be two to three times bigger than the original.”
Then again, maybe some people are thinking twice about stamping themselves with their significant others’ names or faces. Says Reardon: “I really don’t see it as often as I used to. It was hot in the late ’90s but I don’t see my customers doing it like people used to back in the day.”
