Have you ever imagined what it would look like if your favorite NBA stars had their own hip-hop album covers? Well, thankfully, New Jersey artist Jesse Nunez has. You can check out the full series here, but we couldn't resist sharing a few with a selection of lyrics:
NAS' "Illmatic" was recreated for the MVP candidate. Nobody is excelling at draining 3s and breaking ankles quite like Curry this season. Dare we say he makes it look automatic? We think NAS will approve.
Everybody knows Kobe is true to the West Coast, so seeing him on a Biggie cover might be slightly unsettling. However, we're trying to look past that minor technicality. Kobe is one of the greatest to ever play the game, but is it finally time for a new era in L.A.?

It's no secret the Knicks have fallen on some hard times, but Melo's not throwing in the towel on getting that elusive ring anytime soon. What would have happened if 50 Cent gave up on his music career before "In Da Club"? Exactly.

Could it be his fashion-forward tendencies and unapologetic attitude that remind us of the hip-hop mogul? Perhaps. Ever since Durant's injury, Westbrook hasn't hesitated to put the team on his back.
